Handmade 1911 Leather Adjustable Chest Holster

The craftsmanship on this leather 1911 chest holster is made to last!!! The holster and pouch use a unique - original designed-from-scratch construction. A matching magazine pouch with a heavy duty snap closure come with this rig. This mag pouch is unique in the fact that it is removable, and can be attached in any number of ways to the rig, or to a belt. With a double walled back piece, a 1" strap can be woven in and out of the holes, OR it can be slid straight through. Either way ensures a proper custom and extremely durable fit. The Holster is made to accommodate a quick draw, with a snap closure thumb break, with a slightly extended barrel coverage for that extra protection in the bush. Along with these features comes a fully covered trigger area. A secure snap closure thumb strap is made with a buried snap head, so there is absolutely no wear on the firearm during regular carry. The holster has also been designed to accommodate Bromar style target sights, Novak sights, and 3 dot with no rubbing or holster wear. This rig is designed for the most demanding wearer, and can be worn under a backpack without interference. With custom wear-ability in mind, all the straps are adjustable with Chicago screws, and all points pivot to accommodate free movement with side carry, or any variety of chest placements, on top of/ underneath outerwear.

This rig can be made to fit any size, but the proper measurements must be taken in order to provide the correct fit. Measurements with a soft measuring tape must be taken around the barrel of the chest, where the chest strap will sit. A measurement must also be taken from the middle point on the back where the barrel strap will sit, up the back, over the shoulder (one side or the other), and down to the center of the chest at the point where the barrel strap will sit. To the nearest inch.
If you don't have a soft measuring tape, you can easily get a measurement with a soft piece of fabric (like a bath robe tie, belt, rope) formed to the body in the described spots, then laid out flat along side a hard measuring tape. If you have any questions on how to take this measurement, please contact me, and I can send you a diagram of where to take the measurements.
